PortMiami's cruise terminals at a glance

PortMiami lists ten cruise terminals: AA, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, J and V. Terminal G is closed while it's rebuilt as a new Royal Caribbean terminal, due in 2027. There is no Terminal H. You may see "AAA" on berth schedules — that's a berth at MSC's Terminal AA complex, not a separate terminal.

Which terminal you use depends on your ship and your sailing date, and it can change. Your boarding pass or cruise documents always have the final word. Everything below was checked against PortMiami's own terminal list and its daily berth schedule in October 2026.

Terminal AA — MSC Cruises

MSC's Terminal AA opened in April 2025. It's home to ships including MSC World America, MSC Seaside, MSC Meraviglia and MSC Poesia, and Explora Journeys' Explora III also uses it. MSC prints your terminal on your cruise ticket. Some Royal Caribbean and Celebrity sailings board at the AA complex too.

Terminal A — Royal Caribbean

Royal Caribbean's Terminal A, nicknamed "The Crown of Miami", opened in 2018. It handles ships like Icon, Wonder and Allure of the Seas, and Celebrity Beyond boards here on most sailings. Some Royal Caribbean ships — Freedom and Independence of the Seas in late 2026 — use the Terminal AA complex instead, so check your boarding pass.

Terminals B and C — Norwegian Cruise Line

Norwegian's Terminal B, "The Pearl of Miami", welcomed its first guests in August 2021. Ships include Norwegian Luna, Getaway, Aqua and Escape. A few sailings (some Jewel, Joy and Sun dates) use Terminal C instead.

Terminals D, E and F — Carnival and Holland America

Carnival uses all three, depending on the ship. Carnival Celebration always sails from Terminal F, which was redesigned and opened with her in 2022. Other Carnival ships in Miami include Conquest, Horizon, Magic and Sunrise. Holland America's Zuiderdam uses Terminal D, and Celebrity Xcel moves into Terminal E from November 2026.

Terminal G — closed for rebuilding

Terminal G is being rebuilt as a new Royal Caribbean terminal, expected in 2027. No ships board here until then.

Terminal J — smaller and luxury ships

On the south side of the port, Terminal J is PortMiami's boutique terminal for smaller and luxury ships. Oceania Cruises (Vista, Insignia) boards here. Lines such as Azamara and Crystal say their Miami terminal depends on the sailing, so check your documents.

Terminal V — Virgin Voyages

Virgin Voyages has its own Terminal V, opened in 2022, used by Scarlet Lady, Resilient Lady and Brilliant Lady.

Getting to your terminal

Taxis are available at all cruise terminals on cruise days, rideshare has designated pick-up and drop-off zones, and a free trolley runs inside the port. Whatever you use, drop passengers and luggage at the terminal before anyone goes to park.

How our drivers know the right terminal

When you book, tell us your cruise line and ship. We check it against your boarding pass and the port's daily berth schedule, so you're dropped at the right building — not the one next door.
